Student Support Services
Student Support Services provides a comprehensive, developmental program committed to fostering the social/emotional, and academic development of all students. School Counselors and Learning Specialists are professional school advocates who provide support in order to ignite student potential and academic achievement and address individual student concerns and needs. In partnership with other educators, parents/guardians and the community, Student Support Services facilitates the support system to ensure that all students in Darul Arqam North have access to and are prepared with the knowledge and skills to contribute at the highest level as productive members of society.
Some of the resources that Darul Arqam North provides include tutoring, intervention plans, ESL support, and technological support based programs. Darul Arqam North has a certified behavioral counselor on call and two child psychiatrists on call as well as a certified school counselor on site all who can help students reach their highest potential and serve both their academic as well as our students social emotional needs. Our teachers are trained in providing differential teaching instruction in the classroom and implementing most IEP's. Although we have limited resources we continue to grow our support services for our students every year in order to help all our students succeed.
